When people get rid of old electronic equipment, like televisions and computers, we call that e.Scrap. Because of the toxins found in electronics, they are expensive to discard, and those costs often fall on households (directly or through their tax dollars). Many states are turning to computer and television manufacturers to bear some or all of the cost for responsible e.Scrap recycling.
